Quality Policy Maersk Line, Limited is totally committed to meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations. Each and every member of the MLL organization will strive to deliver to our customers defect-free services, meeting or exceeding our customers’ requirements, the first time. . . every time. The success of quality efforts is critically dependent on the personal involvement of all employees in the Quality Process. Constant awareness of our customers’ requirements, the customers’ perception of our performance and the ongoing identification of areas for improvement are vital to attaining and sustaining a robust Quality Process. Implementation of this policy is the responsibility of every member of the staff, starting with the Board of Directors who make policy decisions which enable the correct actions to be implemented throughout MLL. The President/Chief Executive Officer is responsible to the Board for developing, implementing, communication and maintaining this Quality Policy throughout MLL. The Quality Manual, Procedures and Work Instructions detail the actions required to implement and maintain MLL’s Quality Management System (QMS). These documents describe and outline the policies, procedures and operational practices which make up the QMS. MLL’s QMS is and will continue to be certified to the International Organization for standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 standard. Senior Management will solicit feedback from the organization on the effectiveness and functionality of the QMS. The Quality System, and its related documents, are dynamic and will evolve as MLL moves forward, making continuous improvements to our procedures and processes. John F. Reinhart |
