Maersk Line, Limited provides personnel, operational and technical support to operate and maintain special mission ships which are public vessels of the United States Government under administrative control of the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command (MSC). Special mission ships have a variety of missions including ocean surveillance and radar support. The vessels engage in worldwide service and consist of both monohull and SWATH hull configurations. These vessels have been supporting mission sponsors since 1984 and are valuable assets to the U.S. Department of Defense.
