Maersk Line, Limited’s U.S. flag liner vessels transport goods throughout the world, when and where necessary, on behalf of government agencies. By providing assured access to the most extensive global intermodal network – which includes the largest fleet of U.S.-flag liner vessels – we develop customized operations based on our customers’ contingent needs.

Proven Track Record

Maersk Line, Limited and the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group have a long tradition of providing dedicated U.S.-flag liner services in support of overseas missions:

• Four Sea-Land container ports were opened in Vietnam with seven dedicated container ships providing service during the war effort, proving the case for improved operations using containers in a war zone. Additional military support provided to Subic Bay, Philippines and to Okinawa, Japan.

• Maersk Line, Limited has continued to provide support to every major military operation including, among others, Operation Desert Storm, Operation Restore Hope and Operation Joint Endeavor. Today, we are actively providing extensive sealift and intermodal support to Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
