Purchasing
 
The Maersk Line, Limited Purchasing Department provides parts, services, food, and other items used by Maersk Line, Limited vessels operating from various ports throughout the world.  The purchasing department arranges for shipment of material to vessels in the Maersk Line, Limited fleet.
 
MLL’s purchasing department procures requirements for both our government programs and our commercial operations.  As a Government Prime Contractor, MLL procures requirements in accordance with our prime operating contracts, and includes flow down government contract clauses where required by those contracts or otherwise deemed appropriate for a particular purchase.  Terms and conditions are referenced on each order and are published below to ensure all suppliers are made aware of the terms and conditions that govern each order.
 
Government Contracts
 
The terms and conditions included in government related solicitations and purchase orders issued by Maersk Line, Limited can vary according to which Government customer is paying for the material or service.    Orders in support of a prime government contract may have Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) or Department of Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) flow down clauses that are flowed down to suppliers.  The full text of FAR and DFARS clauses that are included in MLL terms and conditions can be reviewed at:

Suppliers must review individual solicitations or purchase orders for specific terms and conditions that apply to that order.  By acceptance of the order, and unless otherwise agreed to in writing, the seller accepts the terms and conditions of the order including those provided by reference.  The full text of these terms and conditions are available at the below links:
