Small Business MAERSK LINE, LIMITED ("MLL") Statement of Corporate Policy Utilization of Small Businesses in Subcontracting The objective of the MLL Small Business Plan is to promote, encourage and support opportunities for small business to participate in our purchases and subcontracting carried out in support of our contracts with the U.S. Government. All purchasing and/or subcontracting with small business must be consistent with our commitment to quality Service as embodied in our ISO Policy Statement. Senior Management is committed to supporting small businesses, subject to the preceding sentence, to the maximum extent possible. Small Business Enterprises include (1) small socially and economically disadvantaged business concerns, (2) historically black colleges and universities and minority institutes, (3) small business concerns, (4) historically underutilized business zones (HUBzone), (5) women-owned/controlled small business concerns, (6) veteran owned and (7) service disabled veteran owned business enterprises. As always, all suppliers and subcontractors are to be accorded a "level playing field" and dealt with fairly and impartially.
